“I am honored to be the first spokesperson for Tennis Night in America. Tennis was a great sport for me when I was young and having clubs around the country come together to promote kids’ participation in conjunction with the BNP Paribas Showdown makes for a great night of celebration for tennis.  Last year Tennis Night had over 700 tennis facilities involved.  I would like to see that reach 1,000 in 2011.”
-Pete Sampras

"The continued promotion of junior tennis across America is key to the future of our sport.  With the new 10-and-under rules now in effect, there is no better time that I can think of to get kids involved in tennis.  Tennis Night in America brings focus to all of this so I am excited to be a part of it.“

- John McEnroe
